The Great Books Read-Aloud program consists of four series, each packaged as a set of three softcover student volumes that contain fifteen multicultural stories and poems. Each volume also includes activity pages and space for students' illustrations and writing.

Teacher's Editions include complete student readings, lesson plans, and activities.

Audio CDs provide professional recordings of the selections in each series.
