Join us to experience firsthand how we engage students of all ages in critical thinking, active listening, and thoughtful analysis through our inquiry-based learning method. In schools that use our method and materials, students learn how to consider important ideas, find their voice, and develop a deep understanding of complex texts.
This overview will acquaint you with the Shared Inquiry method of learning, proven to engage all readers at higher levels of reading and thinking, and research-based Great Books programs for grades K–12. The experience will be interactive, allowing participants to actively engage in the core Shared Inquiry activities, including a brief Shared Inquiry discussion of a rich text. Participants will also have the opportunity to learn about the Great Books Foundation’s history and mission as a nonprofit, and receive information about our proven professional development and engaging classroom resources.
