Engage in a Shared Inquiry discussion and the scaffolding that gets the reader prepared for deep thinking and collaboration. We will map Junior Great Books to the significant parts of WAC 392-170

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

• Navigate WAC 392-170 Updates: Understand the shifts toward universal screening, single-domain service, and true classroom acceleration through the lens of Shared Inquiry.
• Identify and meet the needs of highly capable students through student-centered dialogue and abstract reasoning with open-ended, interpretive questions.
• Explore how diverse literature and scaffolded reading steps can eliminate background knowledge gaps, foster a shared commitment to equity, and provide meaningful access for multilingual and twice-exceptional (2e) learners.
• Use classroom discussions as a dynamic assessment tool that empowers educators to observe and support students' hidden potential, helping educators feel more effective at identifying and nurturing talent.
