This advanced-level course is a two-hour live webinar and provides participants with a review of the essential elements of a Shared Inquiry™ discussion and the Great Books interpretive reading activities that enable students at all levels to participate successfully. Through active engagement in an instructor-led demonstration and/or video of students in discussion, teachers will solidify their understanding of their role as leader and how Shared Inquiry connects to state and district standards and improves students’ reading, critical-thinking, writing, and oral communication skills. The group will share successful implementation strategies as well as questions about how best to adapt the program to meet students’ needs.
The Shared Inquiry Essentials 100 level course is a prerequisite. Participants who complete the course will receive a certificate.
